Chime Pinot Noir, Willamette Valley, 2007
Price: Retails for around $13.00
Impressions: Bing cherries, followed by a trace of tea leaves and tart strawberries in the mouth. This pinot is silky smooth and well balanced. A really nice wine at a fantastic price.
Erath Pinot Noir, Oregon, 2009
Price: Retails for $19.00, although I’ve often seen this priced in the $14.00-17.00 range.
Impressions: Earthy aroma with infusion of cranberry. Ripe red apple in the mouth. Oak really comes out on the finish.
